Tonight, I didn't have much time before getting ready for my friend to come over so I hit the stairs. I live in a 27 story apartment, on the 20th floor. I climbed up to 27 then down to the main floor up to 27 down to 1; up to 27 down to 1; up to 27 then back to 20. I think that's right? All I know is 61 floors up and 61 down with 4 x 12 push ups and 4 x 12 dips done every 6th floor going up in 20:39.

My legs feel like jelly! :D

Have a safe but fun night everyone!!

Meredith

7.2k on the tm with a short tempo section: 2 mi wu up to 8.5 by feel, 2 miles (14:07) at 8.5 (4:23, est. ~1 hr pace), 0.5 cd. I lately have rarely run sustained near tempo pace unless training for 10k and was testing it out for possibilities. Followed with a bit of leg press and 40 minutes in the pool.

No running for me today as I ran (figuratively speaking) from job #1 to Mass then to job #2 - I'll be arriving home around midnight ready to drop!

Happy New Year to all the maniacs!

It's supposed to be rainy tonight, but I'm hoping the moon will shine through the clouds. It did last night.

Happy New Year everybody!

5km race done in 27:20. I need to reset my 2010 goal. It was to run a sub-30 5k.

9k done this afternoon - included 4 hill repeats, average time was 6:37/km however my hill repeats are really slow even going down... in fact I am probably the same speed going down as up.

Dinner's over... had our Mars Bar Fondue ... now to get the kids off so we can relax.
