12.9km run at lunch. Found the hilliest route I could find and ran it as a hill work out.

Happy Birthday, Ladies! Enjoy YOUR day.

Happy birthdays!!

Yesterday's run didn't happen. But I did try a new pub! (So, that fits with one of my defined goals for this year. ;) )

Today, I have drinks with folks after work, and then film fest stuff with other folks, so I came into work late in order to get my hill repeats done this morning. A girl's gotta have her priorities straight!

7x a 200M hill of 10 or 12% (I can't remember.) It was moderately tough. I was happy when I was done, but not dead. Probably would've been more dead if I'd done yesterday's run (which was to be 7k at "Seattle marathon pace"). :|

My swim is done. 2300 m in 49 min. The fast lanes just had myself and another guy who seemed to be doing a similar workout so I raced him in the 50's. He was a perfect pace bunny. :P :P :P

Making up my missed run from last night with a bit of snow on the ground. Still not sleeping. :(

I went to look at a house after work and then out for a latte with my Real Estate agent so it was after 6:00 pm by the time I got out there and I had a hard time finding the motivation to get changed and go out in the cold. Oliver looked so hopeful so I took him with me for a very hilly (read slow) 4km!

Hills & Drills for me tonight, although yet again, I'm not sure which as we STILL don't have our schedule. Whatever it is, it will be between 6 and 10km and will include either hills or speedwork.

8.xx km done in about 54:00. We did a pyramid workout on the track:
100m - 90 sec. walk/jog
200m - 90 sec. walk/jog
300m - 90 sec. walk/jog
400m - 90 sec. walk/jog
300m - 90 sec. walk/jog
200m - 90 sec. walk/jog
100m - 90 sec. walk/jog

I'm not sure how fast I went yet, as I haven't looked at my laps, but I felt like I maintained pace throughout. It felt good after a stressful day at work.
