Another grey THURSDAY
I've heard of this bright, warm, yellow ball in the sky, but have not seen it for some time now. And likely won't see it again today.
Why hast it forsaken us?
I miss the sun.
Supposed to rain here this morning. At least the temperatures are supposed to continue to be well above normals for this time of year.
I'll likely head to the gym soon and run a short one on the TM. So much to do at my desk, might as well get at it early today.
Have a good one!

Re: Another grey THURSDAY
Had the alarm set for 6, but couldn't sleep last night and really didn't want to go to spin, so when it went off, I reset it for 7:30. And then, my downstairs neighbour started playing his cello. At. 6. A.M. So, I got up and went for a run. 6.3k in 45 minutes including the warm up and cool down.
Darth, I know where the sun is. It's here in Halifax.

Re: Another grey THURSDAY
The sun is also here in Montreal, but I hear we're loosing it this weekend as rain is moving in. There is nothing better than going for a run @ 5:00 in the morning and the sun coming up during the run. The days are getting longer!!
10.20k @ 4:42 for 48m HR 154. Did a tempo last week, didn't feel like pushing a sub 4:30 this morning with the long run coming this weekend (+26k). Ooops, that looked like an excuse . Just went at a happy fast pace.

opcougar, I've probably passed that sign 69 times, and have never clued in!
Hoping to get my 30 minutes bike (that I missed yesterday) and 2 mile run in this afternoon.
After a 3 month drought, I sold 2 new accounts yesterday, and have another potential sale tday. Wish me luck!

Gray and overcast in Kingston.
I pick up my new car today...Honda Fit.
I'll be a bit sad to say goodbye to my old Honda Civic...C-Moss and I had many adventures with this car. I haven't told her that "Brackie" (car's name) died on Monday.
I vow to not turn the Fit into a "DogMobile" First thing to buy...seat covers so her hair doesn't get permanently into the upholstery.
Will get to the gym and do a TM run...likely...45 minutes...and then maybe a short swim/sauna/hot tub.
This week has been stressful.

Yesterday's bike turned out to be a 65k ride thru the vinyards. I actually had to stop to peel off a layer - I was overdressed and getting too hot! Today is my rest day. And, in another sign spring is coming, I was awoken this sunny Niagara morning by a red Cardinal calling for a mate, right outside my bedroom window. Spring is almost here!
Re: Another grey THURSDAY
Upper body workout done at the Club this morning, followed by an r&r session in the massage chair ... In my haste to get out of the house early, I pulled a La and forgot to bring my BB with me ... Gonna be weird not being connected all day .. ... Decided to drive in this morning, as I will be going to mum's for an early b-day yummy, as she will be busy this weekend
Have a great day everyone .... We should dedicate this day as Burger Day, in celebration of someone's birthday ...

Gonna be hard to trump a new Honda Fit as a b-day gift, Jo-Jo .... Maybe my mum will offer to pay for my cruise as my b-day gift??

Still feeling pretty lousy (combination upset stomach and gunky lungs), so another day off for me. Hopefully tomorrow morning- I'm starting to feel a bit fidgety from lack of exercise, so I must be getting better.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.
Re: Another grey THURSDAY
This is the last sunny day for the week -- the next four days are going to be rainy. So I'm going to do a 7 km run through the Old Town, and then plan a LSD tomorrow on the TM.
Three weeks until my first race -- a 5km in Harry's Spring Run-Off. I'm hoping to do it in 30 mins, but who am I kidding? I'll be happy as long as I finish ahead of the walkers!

The hills are done. Darth, you will be happy to know it was a monsoon out. I ran with my friend who is just starting to run and she did just as many hill repeats as me and got just as wet. It was fun having a running buddy other then Lukie. Good gossip didn't hurt either. Next 1 hour of plyometrics
