Good luck at the Boilermaker Jesse and Sonia! Happy anniversary Mike and Carrie, and Rob and Bridie!

23 km done with Neil. The plan called for 25 km but we took some l-o-n-g walk breaks. We're really having trouble with hydration on our long runs lately. Bringing three little Fuel Belt bottles on a 2.5 - 3 hour run is not cutting it. We're thinking about doing loops with access to lots of fluids at the start/finish point. I also think the heat kicked our butts this week. And when did we start leaving for our lsd's at 9:00 in the morning? Learning, still learning... Gotta plan ahead and take nothing for granted!

This!

Tired of running in the heat. :(

I'll have to remember this when it's minus whatever.

Agree. This is why last week was over 75K and this week I'll be lucky to hit 15K. :( Work commute done.

Other option is do water drops in advance. Drive or ride a bike out to a couple of spots and leave bottles on the side of the path. Lots of ice to keep 'em cold and you're golden.

I plan mine around depaneurs or gas stops to fill up with more water. But this past week including today kicked the **** out of me.

What mcshame means is that he plans his around corner or convenience stores, or gas stations. ;)
