Good luck to everyone racing!!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

I have two friends doing LP tomorrow so I'll be tracking them online.....and my running coach is volunteering down there this year as one of the kayak people, makin' sure all the swimmers stay safe....one of the candidates in Ottawa's race for Mayor, Alex Cullen, is doing LP, so I'll be watching his progress as well.

I'm worried for Alex....no data to report since the 2nd bike leg......not a good sign....am hoping it's just a timing problem and that's he's still on the course...
