5k run before work this morning, then soccer tonight. Tough game. The other team was serious. Way too serious for a rec league. I got kicked in the knee, then tripped (pretty sure it was purposely) and kicked in the ankle, and had my foot stomped on. Sometimes that happens in soccer, but usually people say sorry. Not this team. And two of those were by big guys.

I'm going to make the call tomorrow morning if I run. The ankle is looking a little swollen right now.

Didn't want to work out tonight but decided to go out with the five fingers and hit the park for some repeats.

Speedwork Tuesday: 5x1K @ MP (about 3:58/K, running buddy was 3:36!) + 5x200m @ 35s + WU/CD for 10K. One more run on Thursday and then it's showtime.

Track tonight... gulp.

I have been a one trick pacer since last fall, speed is going to feel so foreign. Well I probably won't have any at all, so I'll just look at this as laps. ha!

I like intervals. And the company made it even better!
6km total done.
Chilly 1/2 - March 4
Montreal 1/2 - April 29
NCM 1/2 - May 27
Manitoba 1/2 - June 17
Army 1/2 - Sept

Had my 12 hour rest between workouts today, so headed down to the RM Track Workout ... :shifty:

Lost count of my laps and ended up with an extra one, somehow  :what: and ended with 8K in total ...

went to the track tonight!

The plan was 400's at V02 max pace. This meant I was aiming for 2:00 per 400, with equal time recovery. Started a little fast though:
1:52
1:57
1:58
2:01
1:58
2:03
2:00

Plus warm-up and cool-down, total 6 miles. I'm happy with that. :)
