Eh, should be speedwork tuesday, not steady tuesday! ;)

8x400 repeats on the TM this morning at 2:06 pace. The last 2x400 turned into 1x800, which was tough (but I wanted to get off the TM!)

Working all day, studying for my final tonight. I think I'm taking it tomorrow, so by tomorrow night, all of this tax learning will be over!

Run after work. Not sure if I'll go to the track with the group or just do my own thing.

For me it should read hilly Tuesday. 6K hills this morning. Cooler and better running conditions but still 94% humidity! Result is still achy sore legs for me :( Got through though and my pace was not too bad. Busy day of work ahead with relatives in town meaning a busy day's end too.

Is anyone doing the triathlon in Cornwall on Sunday???

The treadmill and I have a date this afternoon for 5K, provided I can get this mountain of paperwork cleared off my desk first!

I would love to be outside for a run right now, it feels nice and cool, but my slot of free time isn't very well placed today, so the gym it is...

2011 plans
Resolution Run - 48 min (walked...it was COLD!)
WPS Half Marathon - DNF, 1:20ish at 10.75km
Fargo 5K & 10K - 5K walked 48 something. 10K 1:13:55
Try a Trail series
And others TBD...

total of 8K

3K Warm up
4K at race pace
1K cool down

In the past week and a half or two weeks all of my training paces (with maybe the exception of the mile repeats!) have started to feel easier and more comfortable. It's like the training effect finally took hold. :) I hope this means I am ready to race!

Quiet morning on the Ottawa River pathway this morning... I think B & I saw a total of 3 cyclists! Usually we see double that (at least) and a pile of runners and walkers... hmmm...!

Nice run by the River this morning with B - hoping to make it out to the track practice tonight... though I'd be more spectating and in awe I'm sure ;)

Happy Tuesday!

Will try for another run after work. I'm trying to stay away from the track thingy tonight. If I try 10X400, I'll be limping for a week.

A really good bike commute to work this morning (24 km). Weather was almost perfect. I definitely enjoy the commute more in the morning than in the evening - a lot less people on the paths in the morning (hardly anyone on the Gatineau side) and a lot of in-line skaters in the evening.

Not sure whether I will run on the canal at lunch or not.

Have a great day everyone!

Had decided to head out for a 6.5k run this morning at 6am since my running buddy wanted to head out in the morning (I prefer to go after work), but she bailed at 5.30am so back to bed and will head out this evening. Will run to cricket practice...should be a 5-6k distance.

moving my long bike from this upcoming weekend to tonight.

had a good swim yesterday - even though it was kind of mass confusion like in the pool. *grumble* anyway - got through the 2000m set.
