Last night was trail run club. 20 min w/u, 30 min c/d and 50 min of workout. The workout included three legs that we did 5 times. The first part of the leg was up a steep hill to be run at a moderate pace, the second leg was flat to be run at race pace, and the third leg was down to be run at an easy pace. My headlamp died about 5 min into the workout portion so I ran over an hour in the dark... Time for a new headlamp.

Today - a nice cycle to work this morning and the same to home. No running. Toe is still bothering me.

Have a great day everyone!

Some upper body weights and IT band stuff this morning, Runpub tonight. Not sure what that will be, but some kind of run at an easy pace. Looking forward to toasting La's new house!

Ended up sleeping in til past 9:30am this morning ...  so, rather than going into work late, opted to take a mental health / r&r day, and just stayed in bed 'til noonish or so ... :shifty:

Went out for a 7K run with 3x 1000m intervals @4:00, 4:03 and 3:50 .... now, back to bed for the r&r part ... :shifty:

9k tempo planned for tonight plus a lot of ice on my wrist. I had the most painful chiro session today to unlock the bones in my wrist that I fell on a couple weeks ago when I tripped running. Owie!!!!!!

I went for months with a sore/locked/weak wrist after falling down this past winter. When I finally remembered to get it adjusted, it was a revelation!

Did it take only 1 adjustment to fix it? I am hoping so, that was really painful to do. And I usually love getting cracked.

A few days later I felt like I could have used another adjustment on it, but then it seemed to resolve itself, and has been fine since. YMMV.

Did about 36 minutes today, 25 of it continuous. Pretty good, considering it was a third day of running in a row for me--I usually do two on, one off.
P.S. TM running is something else I haven't done. They tried to put me on a TM at the running shoe store and I all but fell off! Not really eager to try that again, but it is probably a handy thing to do when it is -40 outside.
