32km - 3:20 in the Gats this morning. I think I left my hill legs in NYC, but I seemed to find them by the time I turned around at Wolf. Trails were snow covered, but just barely (not SS worthy yet), beautiful run. MrsS Xmas party tonight.

Struggled through 11K this morning with the group. My right ham never kicked in so had to carry it the whole way. Now for a nap...

just had breakfast and will be heading to race start in about 40min. Feeling good (so far!) - a bit of nervous energy, but I was able to eat my yoghurt and cereal and banana! Had a good night sleep and feeling ready!

THANK YOU for all the vibes everyone!

Ha! I'll say!

Thinking of you, Bytch!

Me, I went to spin class this morning. It was good, I worked hard.

My back is a bit sore from going to a concert last night and having to stand the whole time. And then lugging groceries today and crawling on the floor putting an IKEA sofa bed together... my back needs a bit of a rest, I think.

10k this morning. A bit windy, but otherwise a nice day for a run.

Congrats on your first race, Avis!

Great run this morning - 11 km, mostly on the Poco Trail along the Pitt River. The conditions were wonderful - about 1 C, sunshine, no wind to speak of. There was enough frost that I had to be careful where the asphalt was still icy, but most of the time was on a nice gravel trail. And did I mention the beautiful snowy mountains? Living in BC definitely has its advantages...

Carla, hope it's all going well for you!

Lots of good stuff going on in here today!

I had a beautiful and challenging 10km run, planned around a hill that goes up (not too steeply) for 3km (on trail), then another for about 1km (on road). Total elevation gain of about 250m. My km pace ranged from 4:46 to 6:50! Gotta lovethose hills.

Then I got my hair cut and ran shopping errands. Now, just chilling until we go for dinner and mountain movies!

Congrats, Avis! Way to go!

Good luck CinC!!!

Did a 14k run in NOTL today. My first real "winter run" in Niagara. Hands froze despite the gloves!! The knees and hips didn't act up, except a little tiny twinge in the side of one knee throughout. I stopped mid-way to stretch and it never got worse...

decided that we didn't need snowshoes today since there hasn't been fresh snow for a few days... the snow was a bit slippery but not too bad! slipped and slid up and down the mountain for a couple of hours and took lots of great photos... very fun. :)

my legs were feeling yesterday's run though, particularly on the uphill portions of our hike!

tomorrow I'll do the run that I missed today.
