Hitting someone on the head with a hammer ?!?! Unprovoked assault, that's freaking crazy!

I hope they catch him, "eye for an eye"
I ran until my muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid. Then I ran some more...

I'm relative terms, you getting hammered in the head by this stranger is far less than some other horrific event happening to you.

i have worked on a brain injury team. they can be pretty horrific. it can also be very traumatic to have your sense of safety taken away.

Sure...But thats not what I meant by mundane. I'm talking about the amount/kind of attention this news story is getting.

My thoughts exactly... don't feed the troll.

Hopefully they nab the guy soon, hatless or not. Hope your friend is getting better, Marg. What a horrible way to get injured.

Years ago, my uncle was walking along the street with a friend and some nutbar came up to them and hit my uncle's friend in the head. Total stranger and unprovoked. My uncle's friend died as a result. Acts of violence are never mundane and I can totally understand why this is receiving a lot of media attention. If I lived in the Ottawa area I'd be worried until they catch this guy. I was sorry to read this happened to your friend Marg and I hope they find this guy soon.

Mundane? :naughty: That's the last thing it is.
