Obviously you need one of these, too, ... :P

That waterproof case for the ipod shuffle is "currently unavailable."

Does anyone have something that actually works? I've heard of the "swim3p".

The swim p3 can only be used for swimming since the music conducts wirelessly through the water to the headphones.

Might have to get one-
Thanks annelizabeth

I ran ORW with my classic nano clipped to my fuel belt. I just use the case that is like the current iskin but a fake leather. It poured for a lot of that race and I was soaked but the ipod was fine. My classic is so old it was new when I got it LOL. Only problem I have is the memory gives up sooner then it use to otherwise it is working just fine. I have an arm holder somewhere but don't like it as I find the unit too big. I clip it to my shorts for short runs and put it in a pocket in fall / spring.

My Nano got drenched in the rain yesterday. The only issue I had is that it kept pausing songs when it was in the iSkin. So I took it out of the skin and held it in my hand. No issues.

In the summer it goes in my shorts pocket and in the winter I slip it in my glove to keep it warm, which also makes it quite wet. My biggest problem has been frying the ear buds, not the originals, but aftermarket ones like skull candy etc. The Apple ones are pretty hardy but not as comfortable as some of the others out there.

I have killed 3 pairs of skull candy earbuds in the last year! I have a Bose pair now that has a volume and song changer on the cord and I love them.

Yes, but what wine would you pair with it?

I regularly soak my iPod Shuffle purchased in 2009 as I dump water over my head in races and the water makes its way to the Shuffle near my waist.

Several times this has resulted in static along with music for days thereafter. The fix I have found is placing the Shuffle near the basement dehumidifer.

Dries out the unit I suppose. But it works.

I have fried a cell phone (from carrying it in my bra) and a pair of expensive headphones (caught in the rain), and saved them both by sitting them in a bowl of rice overnight. Worth a shot if it happens to you.

I recently purchased an iPod Shuffle from this Apple partner:

http://waterfi.com/

Good luck so far, though I don't push the limits, I just dump water on myself during races and run in the rain.

These products are guaranteed for two years even when used in swimming pools.
