4.5k walk to work done. I was going to run, but honestly, I just didn't feel like it. I'm going to take this little mental break from running for the rest of 2011, I think. Just run when I want. And when I don't, I won't.

A complete r&r day for me today .. capping it off with a 90 minute post marathon session with the MoP ... 8) though, I did comment to her that she had gone a bit on the "soft" side the last couple of sessions, and last week she said that she would make up for it this coming week ... :o :shifty:

Have a great day, everyone ... a couple more days of this great double-digit weather, before it starts to change to the usual Fall stuff ... :?

Double-up day. 1:00 / 12.25km with Strider-Pup this morning. 30min in minimal shoes (universe) at lunch.

Flights and Hotel are all booked for the Yukon Arctic Ultra Marathon in Feb, just working on the application. First marathon application I have ever filled out that requires a Doctor's Medical Certificate. I thought it was just for the 100/300 folks, nope Marathon too.

While I was in Ottawa yesterday I got paged out to one of my Cornwall jobs so I am heading out the door in a few minutes to make up for what I missed yesterday  then a busy day of catch up! Hope to get a walk with the dogs at lunch otherwise not much on the go run wise.

Ten day Hannah count down has begun! We start at 69 ... how far can we go???? Need many votes to get into the top ten but if we don't we will still have won a lot in a lot of money raised for Guide Dogs of Canada! Thanks everyone!

Feeling sluggish this mornig, but not for any reason!?

Left early enough to walk the 4K to work... did under 1K and a bus came by so I hopped on.

Arrived 25 minutes early to work. :|

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Back at work!
I feel great. My legs are a bit stiff but really not bad for post marathon. I had a huge blister under my big toe and even that is doing ok.

I am still basking in the post NY afterglow. I can't get my head together enough to get a report done, though. So much to say! Maybe by the end of the week.

Have a great day! :D

Most likely due to the limitations of medical care up North, that and the huge cost to medivac out of there.

It sounds like quite an adventure!

I have been told that I am leaving Trenton on the 28th, so leaving Winnipeg on the 27th. This doesn't match the weekly flights, so I actually think that I will be leaving Winnipeg on the 28th and Trenton on the 29th. I'll get this sorted out later today.

I actually quite enjoyed my swim last night after work - got in 2000m in 45min - not a lot of lane hassle - all good.

Today - will run after work, and then maybe a spin afterward.

Me and the obnoxioiusly bright Newtons are heading out for a run. Low expectations since I haven't run all summer, and its November. Gawd...

I started a 30 day challenge for myself yesterday. Must do some kind of training for the next 30 days. I need to get my mojo back!!!

Wish me luck...
