Just commenting so I get updates. DBB will make the four hour drive for this one with ease.

That's a long way for some brewskie's, DBB ... And, who will be driving you safely back home? Cupcake Girl? Or, you just trying to escape from the kitties for a few hours on Saturday ???
Just a reminder to the participants .... No Drinking and Driving ... and, make sure you have someone to drive you back home afterwards ...

Sure. But you are both not coming despite being in the area and telling how we should do it in your absence?
Just show up!

Noon it is.
We have a shuttle service to our house if anyone needs to crash. It is only 1km away, I plan on walking back those able to can just follow me.
Yes, either plan to come to my house for a few hours or have a designated driver. Please!

No worries HCcD. I will be attending and documenting every minute of this mile and then driving the boy to the hotel where I suspect he will purge himself some more of the adult beverage.
Ironboy - are you serving up bacon, eggs and buttery toast aftewards to the participants? The body's reaction to that would be entertaining to the sober.

I must seem confused on the concept
I usually only drink on training runs
I mostly try to run sober on race days
You're blurring the lines that keep my life on track

Sorry I'm going to miss this Beer Mile... but if Doonst's new avatar is correct, he can chug something fierce. Certainly worthy of photos should he show up

It's not too late to organize one in your neck of the woods, we could compare results and declare a maniac beer mile champion. This would be worthy of a Spud Trophy!

Just so you are aware and intimidated, I am not undertrained - I chugged two beers and ran up and down the eighth floor hallway of the Quality Inn last night before bed.

WooHoo! Well done - yes, apparently running and drinking works well for you. Have you already researched the next Beer Mile RACE? Maybe you have a new way to travel the world.
Congrats on the Win DBB!
