I think about you and Porter and your family a lot. I can only imagine how difficult this year has been for you all. I know that one of the hard parts about moving on is letting yourself be happy again-- it doesn't feel right, but you know you must. I'm so glad that you are learning to let yourself enjoy life while still cherishing his memory.

I have thought of you alot this year. I cannot know your pain but you seem to have tremdous strength and a solid family. I may not comment but when I see you post it makes me happy to see you still here and still running.

Learning to ski is a wonderful adventure that Porter would be proud of I am sure. The beauty of skiing is when you are at the top of the hill or moutain you can be just that much closer to your angel in the sky.
