Nah, those T-4's can wait until after you return from your vacation, Sylvie ... :shifty:

As for me, just more morning therapy at the Club, and some sort of Moderate/Tempo-ish/Hilly run later this afternoon/evening .... :shifty:

I am planning an easy run later today. I want to see how my legs feel after my Cowtown Marathon! I am heading to the gym to attempt a Shoulders and Legs workout.

I'm in "make it to the start line" mode for Chilly this Sunday. I've found that lately, I've been slogging through my runs. Just feel heavy.
Then yesterday, I took put on my old running shoes -- the ones I loved from last year, that I didn't wear out but switched out of when my knee started hurting -- and I ran 5k yesterday at my fastest speed ever: 5:15 pace! Wow!

So I think I'll be wearing those shoes for Chilly, then making an order from Holabird for more Mizuno Wave Elixirs...!

Easy hotel TM run this morning. Fly to Jacksonville, Florida for a conference this afternoon. It's a tough job, but I guess I'll cope...

Typical 45 mins/8ish km on the tm this morning. My 2 months of "run with no schedule/training" ends tomorrow. Now I have to decide on some goals for this year. Help. :D

Do you get your exam back?

Tempo intervals this morning. Progressively faster. Had trouble focusing, kept wanting to get off TM for no good reason.

Nice 15 km run this morning. The sky was starting to get light when I left my house around 6:15, and it was full daylight within 20 or 25 minutes. In a couple of weeks DST will put us back in the dark but in the meantime I am loving this "running into the sun". Especially because our route starts out with several km heading east, and it feels like we are literally running into the dawn. No matter what kind of bad work day I may have, I love, love, love starting out feeling so energized.

And on that note, back to the year-end madness. Have a great day, everyone :)

took yesterday as a rest day and just walked home from work - so today was swim squad at 6am which was great, and I'll do my treadmill workout after work tonight. need to go and pick up a pair of headphones since I left my ipod at home, even though I looked at it and thought to myself 'no, I don't need it today'.

Got in 14.9kms including 6X600m at roughly 5k pace. Though it was still dark when I set off, it didn't take long before it started to get light. That always makes the run so much better. :D

5.5k done at lunch with 3k at race pace. I'm skiing tomorrow, so aside from 2k on the end of the course on Saturday when I pick up my bib, that's it until Chilly.
