Today I ran 10k after work which was also my last day with this employer. Will miss everyone that I spent the last 12 years of my life with but I'm moving on to bigger and better things!

I did my first tempo workout in a very, very, very long time today. Four miles on the track. Now I'm feeling it. Oy. First half of the season is two months out from today. It's time to get a bit more serious about training.

About 12k of trail riding (lots of roots and mud!) followed by snowshoeing (hollyburn). Pizza in between. Sleepy now. :)

Run turned out to be a bit quicker than anticipated - Stampie ran with us tonight so he and I and K ran loops around the participants. We ended up doing about 600 m more distance than them :)

It was fun to run with the Clinic participants, brought back good memories of last year. About 8ish K done today, unfortunately no time as my watch band broke mid run and there was walk breaks included in this run with the clinic. The clinic did 3:1 7x along with a 5min brisk walk warm-up & 5min cool down.
PB’s (official race results)
5K – 26:20; 8K – 41:28; 10K – 52:13; 15K - 1:22:43; 21.1K – 1:54:16; 30K – 2:51:34; 42.2K – 4:24:14
