I meant to get up and ride my bike to work, really I did.

My bed was all comfy. I turned off the alarm.

I had nine hours of glorious sleep. Nine hours!

Sulphur Springs starts early tomorrow and the rest of the weekend is pretty busy.

Today will be a rest day.
The road to hell is paved. Run trails.

As I'm trying to adjust to staying up later (in advance of my first round of night shift teaching next week), I went to bed later and got up later than usual. I have to say that I really don't like getting up late - and even worse - commuting at a later time! Ugh! I have stuff at the office to bring home so I couldn't ride my bike today.

I will likely go for a short run in the heat when I get home from work, just to shake the cobwebs out of my legs. I haven't been running much lately.

It's Friday! </operatic chime>

Rest day before driving down to Calgary tomorrow!

ETA: My brain has apparently beaten me to Calgary, as I have sent two different dockets to my group, CC'ing my boss (of course), asking for a due-date of Sunday afternoon. :P

I know you need to have the odd bad run to know what the good ones feel like but today's run sucked. 15km of pure hell. It was just a hard run. Plus my calf cramped up at 13km so the last 2 were painful. Oh well the next one will be better.
