A very easy 4 km run to the finish line and back home for me. Glad we are not running the marathon today. It is hot out already.

Good luck to all racers this w/e!
15km this morning before the sun came out. It was absolutely perfect outside for running. Had a great run, despite some lingering glute/hamstring issues.

Per Google maps it's a five hour drive, with pit stops and lunch probably more like six. The weather looks great for tomorrow, I won't complain if the heat holds off until Noon.

A bit of a dog walk and a bit of agility in the back yard and not much else. Going to buy me a new lawnmower. Nothing else exciting happening her. Even slept in! :D :D Will be watching TV tonight to catch the start of the 10K and cheering on my brother and friends as they run the 5 and 10 tonight! Good luck everyone! And rain rain go AWAY you can come on Monday!

Lots of races this weekend! Ottawa, Calgary, Saskatchewan, Sulphur Springs, Cabot Trail... and even here (and Abbotsford)! Good luck to everyone. I'm doing a 5K tomorrow morning, too.

Since I'm racing short tomorrow, I ran long yesterday-- a gorgeous 20K on the seawall path and then up the hill in Stanley Park. The run was awesome- everything I love about running and more. Another gorgeous day today, but I'll probably just go for a walk.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Going for a walk, then spending the day watching the wire until my 10k tonight. Had a very inspiring dinner with all the blind/visually impaired runners who are doing ORW last night. Looking forward to guiding my running buddy across the finish line!

10.6K this morning....first time over 10K for months. Croquet and G&Ts this afternoon. I have to get my bike off the trainer in the basement so I can follow the marathon tomorrow. Maybe I should pump the tires and tune up the bell.

The very best of luck to all the racers this weekend, wherever you may be.

From my side, did 12.1 kms at an average 5:27/km today. Would like to say it went easily but that wasn't quite true. My excuse is that it was beginning to get warm. No matter, the most important thing is that I did it. :D

About 18 km. longest run since Van. Felt sluggish but I think I just have to push through.... Started off in capris, long sleeve and a t shirt, part way was in shorts and t shirt, and ended up in long sleeve and shorts.

I drove up north of the city with a friend with the plan to do a 50-70K bike ride. When we got there, he couldn't find his key (it's one of those fobs where you don't have to have the key in the ignition to start it, just have it nearby). So, we decided to ride back home (leave the car up there) to see if we could find the lost key (either at my place or at the coffee shop nearby - the only places he stopped). No luck. So we started riding around when he finally got a call from a guy at the office (where his spare key was) who said he could drive up to Markham to meet us with the key. So that's what we did. In the end we rode about 69K in 2:50-ish of riding time.

Now I'm relaxing on the couch watching the Giro that I PVR'd from earlier today.

25k done at Sulphur Springs. First run over 21k since the Hamilton Marathon. The woods were wonderful. :)
