Aching Toes Tuesday

Postby marymac442 » Tue Jun 05, 2012 7:04 pm

Will be heading out in an hour for 6-ish k with the gals. Hopefully the rain holds off.
My knees are complaining from my bike ride yesterday, will have to adjust my seat if I'm going to do more biking this summer.

Before I had a chance to talk myself out of a workout when I got home from work, I switched out my commuter shoes/bike for my road shoes/bike and headed up the Don Trail toward Sunnybrook. I found a different hill (didn't make it as far as Sunnybrook) and climbed that, then rode home. Then, (and again) before I got a chance to talk myself out of it, I ran a very speedy 2K off the bike (5:10/km pace).

A very tired 12.3kms late this afternoon though I still ran the same sort of pace as the last few days. Go figure! :?

I actually RAN and it felt AWESOME!

I am following a Half Marathon Plan (trumpets sound!) and did some CrossFit including back squats. My butt will be very sore in two days.
