I'm running Vancouver Scotiabank Half with Stampie today (not exactly with... we are carpooling and we're running in the same direction but I will be far slower than his hoped for time).

Have a great run, all you racing people!

I did 14k on my own, since when I got to the RR, I discovered that the half-marathon group was running out of St. Albert. My fault for not reading the RR e-mail close enough, I guess (and not signing up for the group).

Despite being on my own, my run was very pleasant: the sun was shining, the breeze was cool but not too stiff, and I didn't get lost in Klarvatten area! Always the sign of a good run.

10k race this morning. 50:12, which is way off a pb but as good as I've trained for. Chatted with Hammie's hubby before the race.

Later today, 1 hour bike ride and 500m swim.

6 km and change with the stroller this morning at a totally reasonable 7:15 am! Over the course of our run, Charlotte...

-saw a rabbit
-waved at a hot air balloon
-did tai chi with a old woman at the park
-cheered for a cricket game
-"woofed" at some dogs
-giggled hysterically at me every time she looked up and saw me pushing the stroller.

I have the best running partner!

Thanks for the support, Jen. And the cookies too! :)

Ended up with 1:36 (Chip) today. Been having sleepless nights this year on the night before a race so I didn't go at the pace I had planned on. Legs are feeling good as a result so recovery will be quick and I'm happy overall how the day went!

It was nice to see Holly again. Didn't bump into stampie or marymac though. Congrats on the PB Bryan!

Congratulations to Stampie and RobW. I manage 2:05:10 (unofficial because sportstats seems to have misplaced results for places 2100 - 2200).
Sorry we missed Jennifer and Holly - we spent quite a bit of time wandering around the finish area but I distracted trying to spot several of our runners.
