Well, this year we will discuss what you are wearing so we can also keep an eye out for you that way. We will aim to be at the same spot as last year, just over the Alexandria Bridge. I will make sure you know where we are going to be so we can share some freezies with you :D

Sounds perfect!

Although...running with a balloon could be fun too!

You'd be easily spotted in the shoe costume that Geordie McConnell wore last year.

Great to have you as a pacer. You will be awesome. Erin is also on the pacer list--3:35 marathon pacer, I believe. Should be fun.

I've never run with a Bunny and usually try to avoid the Bunny's posse since they can be a bit large to navigate through/around. I almost got stabbed by a Bunny's sign pole at the Chilly Half a few years ago as he was swinging it forward/back (as his arms swung when he ran) and came close to jabbing me in the stomach as I was coming up behind/beside him!

It shouldn't be a problem this year as long as I stay ahead of the 2:00 bunny. I doubt I'll be able to keep up with the 1:55 Bunny since my goal is 1:56-1:58.

i'm bummed to be missing it this year. :( Lightning asked me about going a while back, but unfortunately it falls on the weekend of my high school reunion, and since i'm on the planning committee, i can't skip that (although i considered it!).

i will likely be training harder for the reunion than i would have for one of the races, though. :P

I'm in for 42K, cramming it in between a conference in Sherbrooke through the 25th and another conference in Montreal starting on the 27th. Two questions for the locals or other participants:

(1) I probably won't be able to get to the expo on Saturday in time to get my package, but I see that this can be done by a third party. Would anyone here be able to do this and intercept me later in the evening (perhaps over a carb-loading dinner)?

(2) Where are some good places to stay? I'll have my car and I'm not picky, so I'm mainly concerned with ease of getting to and from the race on Sunday without too much hassle. Walks of up to 20 minutes or a bus ride (if they're running that early on a Sunday) are OK.

Hmmm...we will be in a similar situation since we have to attend a Friday night wedding in Toronto. I'm sure one or more Maniacs will help us out :)
