Skyfall was amazing last night.

Just and nice recovery 21min jog around and around the soccer field this morning.

Have a great weekend

Got an easy 10K on the schedule for after work and then it's a date night for Mrs McD & I- dinner, and then going to see The Temptations! Looking forward to it- date nights are few and far between at this stage of life......

We don't like crowds so we won't be going to see James Bond this week-end.

30 mins run at lunchtime.

I've got nothing.

Into work at an ungodly hour so I can escape at lunch.

Taking the doggy to his sitter, then PACKING! We have stuff all over the place, but we need to get it into our suitcases!

A VERY long travel day tomorrow.

Just throwing a crazy thought out there. We have 3 hours to kill in the airport in Vancouver (2:50 - 6:15). If any Vancouver maniacs want to escape for a coffee, let me know!. Think we will just be reading and playing video games otherwise. :?

We bought our tickets ahead of time and the seating is reserved, so even though the theatre will be crowded, it's not as bad as having to line up to buy tickets, line up to get a seat, etc.

MrsStrider's work company (QNX) had a special pre-screening. It wasn't IMAX, but still great. No Lineups, fun crowd.

TGIF!!! Even though it's only been a three-day week for me, the first two were long and today is another busy one. Can't wait until the madness is over for another quarter.

So, I had plans to run this morning for the first time since Sunday, but woke up with a headache and still felt very tired, so nixed that. The garbage and garden waste had to be out early, so DH and I dragged ourselves out of bed to look after that and then made it to the gym. I did 50 minutes on the elliptical, so some decent cardio without the jarring impact of running, and that actually felt pretty good. I am really, really looking forward to sleeping in a little tomorrow morning. Don't know whether this is a cold, or what, but I swear that I'm more tired and wrung out than if I'd actually run a marathon last weekend...

Safe travels, purdy, and have a great weekend, everyone :)

Up at the crack of dawn (for me) and swam 2,500m. Felt fantastic and I am pleased with being able to wear my insulin pump in the water. Going to see Skyfall on Sunday - yay!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

9K done - calf feels good. Aiming for 36K this recovery week...not too bad. Heading to see the Steelheads tonight with my girls. They just got a new kid from the Colts - Smoskowitz - pretty good. Tough division this year.

Taking the doggy to his sitter, then PACKING! We have stuff all over the place, but we need to get it into our suitcases!

Some advice from an aged tortoise who alhas often over packed. Set everything out and just pack "half" of it!! :)

Out this morning for a couple of hours of run/walk and then to the gym for a 2 hour workout.
