I'm undecided. I love the idea of travelling for a race, but I am also considering returning to Ottawa for the half.

I'm in the draw!

I am still interested but don't think I can afford 2 destination runs even if it isn't a huge trip. Washington is a good 10 hour drive for me. If I do end up trying NY again in 2013 then I don't think I could do this so ... I am at the mercy of NYRR's (along with about 40 some thousand other people!)

Awesome! I think there are 7 of us signed up, plus 1 more who is a maybe. And then one woman's friend (who I don't know) is also in.

I was at my friend's today. She is in her 70's and walks halfs (faster then I ran my first one!). Turns out she has a daughter in Virginia just outside DC. She is going to talk to her and we may both enter (and her daughter too), drive down and stay with her. Would make the trip affordable ... and fun! So I may be able to go

Looks like we have 23 people on the list with 55 minutes left to register. Can't wait to see the lottery results next week!!!

Good luck with the draw, ladies! Yesterday, I thought about adding my name to the list but I have a couple other spring/early summer trips in the works, so I can't do it this time. My fingers are crossed for you.

The 10th seems like such a loooooong wait... but I'm hoping it's worth it. Fingers crossed!!

Just got an email from Nike about my application. They were asking to verify if Nike+ account email was the same as the registration. I wasn't sure if it was spam. Just checked the NWM facebook page and it was legit. There was some technical glitch with some applications and they had to verify email. So fingers crossed for a few more days!!!

Anyone hear anything yet?! No credit card authorization for me yet....
