Sight admin?

oh well. But shouldn't I be a "Site" Admin then?
Maybe I'll fix that myself later. :P

Ran a bit over 10 miles on clear roads, under sunny skies and with no wind - my kind of winter morning. And it's supposed to be even nicer when I run long tomorrow :).

Have a great Saturday everyone!
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

Hoping to get in a whopping 10km today. It's been a real slacker week and i haven't run more than 8km in over 3 weeks. :D Time to get back at it!

Spin in an hour. The rest of the day will be all about dirty dishes being made clean and reading for my course.

Quiet a pleasant 10K run this morning in the 'hoods of Farrhaven with Jes, Marg and Melissa ... Melissa and I dropped off after 10K, while Jes and Marg continued on ... Also, planning to run the 10K tomorrow at the Richmond Road Races, and did not want to push my limits with my foot, at this time, with back-to-back runs ...

Suppose to reach as high as 5C this afternoon, and could possibly break a record for the warmest day on January 12th ... 8)

Today was going to be the day I began running after a month of not really doing anything... Woke up to blizzard conditions & snowed in. No treadmill, no exercise DVDs, & no chance of getting to a gym :( Boyfriend will take care of driveway.. And, no, I'm not going to be volunteering to do it for him... Might have to do some old school home exercises... This day is not starting the way I imagined it would!

I did not enjoy spin today. The instructor came in 5min late wearing full night out on the town makeup then decided to add 3 sets of Tabata to the circuit. Added 10min of ab floor work at the end which took us 10min past the time we were supposed to be out, so the next class started late. Her warmup was incredibly abbreviated. Little to no cool down. Wasn't interested in making sure people were using good form. Told us we could get water after the class was done, but had no problems taking breaks herself

I'm just glad she wasn't the instructor I had last week for my first class, otherwise I might not have gone back. I need to check with the front desk to find out what the instructor schedule is. I don't think I want this one again.

13K for me this morning. It seems like every route I try out recently ends up being 12-13K by the time I loop back and arrive home, LOL. Nice and warm out there this morning and the sidewalks were clear for the most part. That sure makes things easier!

15.5 K in and around the town today. Unreal at 10 C and partly sunny. Shorts for sure, jacket didn't last long. Best part was clear roads!

Loving all the runner names! Abby Hoffman is actually an ADM at my work - I got to sit next to her at a meeting once, and had to resist the temptation to ask for her autograph. I had a picture book about her when I was growing up! Bruce Kidd wrote one of my undergrad textbooks!

5.5 km with the stroller this morning - first stroller run in ages because of the snow. Getting on and off our little side street was pretty brutal with the slush/ice ruts and puddles but the rest was nice bare pavement.

Edited to add - Lynn Williams - a new one for me. Will have to look her up.

I haven't run since last Sunday due to sickness but feeling better today so headed out into the sun. Right foot complained the entire time so I stopped after 6k. Totally unexpected so I'll just write this one off and see how it feels tomorrow.
