Tropical Wednesday

Great run this morning- just over 12K in the tropical heat of Brownsville Texas.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

It almost seemed tropical when I left home this morning!

Today is "One more sleep" Wednesday. "Still haven't packed" Wednesday. Runpub Wednesday. "Hope the Leafs play better than the Habs did last night" Wednesday.

I'll probably run about 8K at whatever pace feels good at the time.

Not so tropical in Saint John...delayed flight due to insane fog has already caused me to miss my connection and is about to make for a much longer trip back to Ottawa. Hoping to get out for a 10k or so once I'm home...then a jump in the pool which I opened before leaving Sunday :)

No run this morning. Heading out to run club tonight instead. Probably just and easy 8-10 K with whoever is doing that at the RR tonight.

Have a good one!

Same as yesterday - walked to work, will run home. I'm again undecided on yoga at lunch. It's so nice out today and will be rainy tomorrow and Friday, so I may opt to do my 2 classes a week tomorrow and Friday instead.

Just did over 4k this morning. Will try to make running in the mornings a habit atleast for the summer and fall. Undecided on whether to do a 3k run or strength training or both this evening.

Back in the pool for the first time in a month due to DH's travel. It was so warm, it felt tropical!

21.5km in 1:48 this morning. I think I have explored most, if not all, the pathways in Rochester MN. Ankle is that much better this morning, most of the swelling is out of it, still taping and tender to the touch but I may have dodged a bullet with the weekend's roll/crunch.

Tonight running about 5km followed by an hour of weights/sprint intervals.

I got a new car, a Ford Escape, and cannot wait to drive it around at lunch :)

Cool a North Bay member. Out daughter is going to Nipissing next year. You have some great paths and running trails. Awesome job getting to week 5. The Couch-to-5k is a great program. Keep it going.

Went out for a beautiful run at work - 15C, a light breeze, the sun was shining, and I didn't have to stop once for a walk break! I am really glad I got out there today.

Which reminds me to e-mail the city and mention a cracked board on the Walterdale bridge sidewalk...

5.5K tonight with the group...fastest pace so far since re-starting. It cooled down a lot just before we ran but it was still humid. All that after picking up our new Subaru Impreza 5 door...not that I will get to drive it much.
