Walking is totally fine though, so did a couple Ks in High Park this morning, and 3.5 K tonight. Not bad for a guy who was too sore and sedated yesterday to put on PJ bottoms without help! Excited to have my life back!

I too am later to the party. Reading this has put a great smile on my face. I can feel the sense of relief that you are experiencing. I'm both excited and happy that this is working out so well for you. Keep up the great job, and running with children is a pricless experience, no matter how old. Enjoy, one breath at a time, and one step in front of the other.... Congrats on your second chance....

so it is still going well then?

I once asked for a sleep clinic referral, and the doctor said he submitted it, but then nothing ever happened. :/ need to try again.

Yes, still going well from a sleep perspective. Blood pressure is lower, too. I still wake up in the night, and I can feel that I'm wearing the mask, but it's not bothersome. I don't love it, but I don't hate it, either.

Follow up with your doc. We're so lucky to live in a country where a sleep study isn't a huge expense. Thanks OHIP!

Not sure how I missed this - awesome, James! :D

My dad also has a machine...he doesn't sit in his chair "just resting his eyes" nearly as much anymore ;)

Ah, now I understand. I forgot that the sleep apnea thing was discovered when you were supposed to go in for gall bladder surgery.

Hope to see you back soon! :)

Getting my gall bladder out was one of the best things I ever did!
