Registration opened this morning at 7am PDT. It says open marathon is sold out already! Am I missing something or did it really take less than an hour to fill up?! :what:

Last year was 26 hours I think. Once that happens, everyone is ready to go the moment registration opens.

There was still room when I started filling out the registration but by the time I hit Pay Now it was full.
Looks like I have to pick a different race from my Bucket List

Late to the party but, for future information, I registered for Big Sur Marathon 2014 in, I think, late October through a marathon tour company. They had a few spots reserved with hotel in Monterrey. They're sold out now. Looking forward to it.

FYI, if anyone is interested, www.marathontours.com sent around an e-mail this afternoon saying they've had a few guaranteed Big Sur entries open up on a first come, first served basis.
