I love when I'm up early enough on the weekend to start the daily thread. :)

I'm drinking tea getting ready to do a pre-race mini-brick.

It's going to be a great day here.

Full body shred on the books for today.

Gotta mow the lawn, do the last of the laundry and then pack.

It was so nice for running this morning that a planned 25k morphed into 30. Pace was 6:17. I think I need more than one gel for this distance though!

Agreed on such a great morning for a run. The pup and I did about 6.5k just enough to warrant a good cup of coffee. :D

Overcast here in Toronto, but a nice temperature for running. The usual summer Saturday morning trip to Sunnyside – I run, my wife takes the streetcar, 7 km via King Street. She didn't pass me until nearly halfway there. :) Nice swim afterwards. Not that hot a day for it, but after a good run a good swim is pretty nice.

Good run done, it clouded over quite a bit so it was a very comfortable temperature. Ran into Jen briefly at the Farmer's Market - I guess she's preparing for her tri with healthy organic produce :D

10k early this morning. I was planning on going longer but my stomach started acting up. On the upside, I did an impressive negative split running back home to the washroom.

23-25K training run at Pinehurst for the Toad race. It's supposed to be 2x12.5K loop, but my Garmin showed 11.8K on the first loop and 23.6K after the second loop, so who knows for sure. 2hrs56min on the trails, and that's all that matters. :)

After finally getting a decent sleep last night and not running in the late afternoon sun, I got in a good 23k run. Ran from New West. to Vancouver along the central valley greenway. First time there and found it a lot better than the BC parkway trail. Going through Burnaby was the best part since it was mostly on trails. Felt great from start to finish. I switched the Sat/Sun runs around this weekend so I could be at Jwolf's Tri tomorrow. :) She's been supportive at all my races when she couldn't participate while sidelined with an injury.

Ran around Stanley park with a friend... which is roughly 9.5km, though we walked the last couple of km so that we could get icecream. ;)

My Garmin also showed 11.8 km on the first loop. I made a wrong turn on the second loop and finished at about 24.8 km. :-)
