This has been the longest frickin week. Sooo glad it's Friday. The boss usually lets us go home early on Fridays of long weekends, so I hope to be out of here around 2PM. :)

Rest day from running. Might walk home, though.

I'm off today, but sadly I was up early to get my run in before beating the traffic up to the cottage.

15k @6:04 pace. Felt nice and relaxed the whole way!

Another one who is SO excited the weekend is almost here! My boss has been gone for two weeks and it has been insane here at work. Looking forward to a little break!

Easy 5 km stroller run done - another foggy morning. Need to remember to pump the tires up this weekend!

And add me to the "can't wait for the weekend" list! Nice 15 km run this morning to start my day off right. Good racing vibes and safe travel wishes to those who need one or both this weekend. :)

Would like to get out for my run this morning before it gets any muggier, but I'm waiting for my in-laws to drop something off. They should have been here an hour-and-a-half ago...

Edited to add: went out for my run anyway (7.2k). Left a note on the door with my cell number. They still haven't called or showed up.

Gentle 17K on trails. 8 more hours until the beer tasting party starts (as this is part of my training, the details are in my journal thread).

I sooooooo need this weekend!
Doing 8k tonight, when it gets a little cooler, then planning 15k for Sunday morning.
Prepping for the Army Run, which is very likely to be a slow run, given that my training has been...ahem...erratic, this summer.

Just finished 10.5km in some humid weather! Felt really good and was just what I needed to kick of the weekend.

Yay Friday!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

I ran an easy 6km on the deer trails in the river valley. I did spook one buck. :)
