Easy paced 10km for me this morning.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Doing a lot of tempo work, since I can't really hog a treadmill for the duration of a long run. 5 miles in 42 minutes felt great. I can't wait for spring and my first honest to goodness long run!

It's a gorgeous day today so I'm going to get ready to run- a bit longer today since the weekend is very busy and it's going to rain like crazy.

Ran 28.2 KM this morning. A little under race pace, getting used to being on my feet and extending distance.

Was running towards Turner Valley, Alberta, which is close to the Kananaskis Range of the Rockies. Huge mountains, nice and white with the sun on them in front of me and a bald eagle flies low over the road just ahead, a sure sign of approaching Spring. A little further on, a pair of moose were casually gnoshing on some grass a little off the roadway. Not as thrilling as it might sound as one is a little exposed to say the least if they didn't like my presence. Fortunately, they ignored me.

Kept running, chatted up a passing lady jogger about the coming Millarville Half as I was entering Turner Valley. Then, at KM 19 on my run, was going down a hill on an urban pathway between Turner Valley and nearby Black Diamond and slipped on some ice, cutting up my hand quite badly but laughing a bit as I careened down the hill on my back head first.

Dripped blood the rest of the way. Wife sent my assistant an e-mail asking if she'd heard from me. Thought I was lying in a ditch dead. Almost.

Nice morning. Not too hot, not too cold. Didn't get too tired at all. Just right.
Dear Lord, help me be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Couldn't face the snowy streets and gusty winds today, so I stayed in and Alarmed the Cats for 35 minutes. Have a good weekend, all you Maniacs (we're doing our taxes :YMSIGH: ).

7 miles outside tonight. Supposed to be a rest day but when I was driving home and saw the 9 celcius reading, I knew I had to go out (switched it for Sunday's run when it's forecast to be -7 and snowing). A little worried about my 20 miler tomorrow after having run for 4 days but it was worth the risk to enjoy some nicer weather.

It wasn't warm or sunny in Montreal today, a bit jealous of other's nice weather.

I ran 30 mins with Popeye and then went out for 75 mins of cross-country skiing. I was mostly cold the whole time :?
