Must be Monday

Postby Habs4ever » Mon Apr 07, 2014 7:51 am

Bright blue sky, no snow in the forecast makes for a great Monday.

A run will happen later.

Have a great day Maniacs. :D

good morning Habs. Finally some sunny warm weather in Southern Ontario. Although they are calling for rain later today. Been fighting a piriformis injury for a month of so, but still hope to get a run in tonight. Its kind of putting a damper on my tri training program, and the weather has made it hard to get much biking in, but I'm still hopeful I'll be ready for Welland in June.

have a wonderful day all.

I had a lovely 30 minute run/walk in sunny (today) Charlottetown. Turned an ankle and two near-spills on melting ice, no damage done. Couldn't waste this beautiful morning.

Heading out for a run after work. 5K on my own (uphill) to meet my running partner, then 4K at a slower pace with him.

I am off a few days this week and was able to take advantage and get outside for a run! 4 km done... It better warm up soon because my biggest jacket barely zips over the belly.

Is it too soon to be wishing you had that baby already? That would solve the jacket problem.

I think hoping for warmer weather sounds more appealing! Six more weeks to go! :)

6K done on the TM. Tried out a pair of Saucony Triumph 10 for 4K and a pair of NB 1080 v3 for 2K. Saucony gets the nod as something didn't feel right in the toe box of the NB shoes. No surprise as I've been running in the Saucony Ride this winter.....

Legs were a little wobbly from 32 km yesterday so hopped on the bike for a quick but hard ten km out in the country. The heaps of snow next to the Rockies are melting like crazy under a stiff cross wind and temperature of about 14 C.

I was supposed to hit the weights today, but I called in an impromptu break day instead. The break was good.
