Does your company pay you while on jury duty?

Forgot to post yesterday- I did 11k later in the day and it was tough. This morning my legs feel pretty stiff so I'm hoping they loosen up by this afternoon. :)

I feel like I am getting sick - sore throat, heads feels like lead. However...today is supposed to be 15C!! I cannot pass that up - will head out at lunch to run in shorts for the first time this year outside :) Maybe a bit of sweat will clear whatever is trying to get me :)

Happy Tuesday!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

I ended up doing 13k with 5 x 1 mile reps at about 9:00. It felt good but I'm glad tomorrow is a rest day. :) I probably won't even swim because my wounds from Sunday are still healing

6 km, out in shorts again! Temp is above 10. Maybe it'll even make 20 for a day or two in early August. I felt so out of shape as I started the run, but eventually I realized that the reason I was huffing and puffing more than usual was that I was running faster than usual. Ha.

I now have to check the time on my Garmin Forerunner 405 at the end of the run and remember it, because it's uploading incorrect times to the site. That thing just keeps on figuring out new ways to irritate and disappoint me.

Back on schedule with intervals so I did 16k with 4 x 1.5 miles at 10k pace. Felt so much better than doing the shorter intervals at 5k pace.
