Go Long Thursday

Postby Habs4ever » Thu Apr 10, 2014 8:33 am

Hoping to go for a long run today, but I'm a bit pressed for time, so we'll see how it goes.

Have a great run today, Maniacs.

I'd thought about riding my bike to work but just didn't get my act in gear last night and this morning, so I bailed on that idea. It's going to be lovely and warm here today, but quite windy later on. Might just take a rest day.

Great running, Habs & Jen :). I did some intervals on the tm today. It was beautiful out and I was aching for some fresh air but our roads are a mess of puddles & pot holes right now :(. We have so much dirty, yucky snow left, I think it'll be May before it's gone!

Tomorrow, I'll get outside.
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

Nice runs, Habs and Jwolf! Just over 5k for me, at a pretty brisk pace in pretty brisk winds.

Had a nice 21k run with 15k a little faster than GMP. The run went well but I'm not loving the 2 pairs I have in rotation. I have ran 500 and 200 km in them but they still don't feel right. The older model with 1000km that I've ran 3 marathons in still feels good. Not sure what to wear in May.
