Wow, it's Wednesday

Postby Habs4ever » Wed May 21, 2014 9:41 am

It's already Wednesday!
I'm enjoying the sunshine and warm temperatures while drinking coffee on my deck.
I will run later, distance TBD.

Run club tonight, but I'm thinking I may wish I had run this morning, because rain is in the forecast for later. :?

Hill repeats for me this morning. Headed up to my usual trails and did the repeats on the slippery, rooty, steep hill at the back of the park.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

just 2 miles with the puppy. I had planned to do longer but between it being too hot for him and my legs being more tired than I want them to be 5 days before the race, I thought it best to keep it short.

Just 5k for me today (legs weren't feeling it for the whole 8k I had planned). Then I got my hair straightened and cut so it's just one more little run on Saturday before the big day.

Today was a rest day, so I just came in from 4 hours of weeding in the gardens. Ow, my back. I'll stretch it out, and hope it's not too knotted up for a run tomorrow.

Break day for me. I'm pretty much shutting it down until Sunday with the exception of an easy 5-6K tomorrow.

sounds like a few of us are having bad taper runs. That just means the races will be awesome. :)
