Going to run easy today, then probably no more running until Sunday.

Have a great Wednesday, Maniacs.

Good plan Habs!

My summer of no specific training has begun! :D It was a gorgeous morning, so I went out for 8K at a very slow recovery pace. The quads are still feeling tight, but after a couple of K they loosened up OK. I certainly couldn't have done more than a jog though.

Easy one for me too today. Headed down to Presqu'ile Prov Park and did a loop around the marsh boardwalk. Saw a raccoon, 2 deer, and an otter, which was pretty neat.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Lisa is right, it was a gorgeous morning here, and I did a 12 km race pace run. Assuming no late in the day crisis at work (there shouldn't be anything, it's fairly quiet right now, but "never say never..."), I plan to show up for Runpub and run some TBD distance. Happy taper and happy recovery vibes to all, as appropriate. :)

I had planned to try out a recovery run this morning but it is not my week and I elected to use that time to take a nap instead (really glad I did!).

My legs never did get too sore after the race, which is dumb considering how much the race hurt. The only soreness I've had is in my ankles, and that should go away soon. Should be good for runpub tomorrow, hopefully!

A really easy 5K for me on the greenbelt trails tonight. It was my first "non training plan" run of 2014 and it felt fantastic!

Oh and in my state of complete relaxation, I almost ran straight into a deer. If it hadn't of jumped out of the way I would've have smacked it right in the ribs. You should of seen the look on its face, LOL
