Isn't anyone running Monday?
I didn't think I would be starting the daily thread from Winnipeg.
First NYC training run done, 8k done in 52 min, a bit off prescribed training pace but I'll blame that on a couple of pauses to sort out my navigation.
It felt like November out there today, I didn't know I needed to bring my winter running gear with me this trip!!

Re: Isn't anyone running Monday?
LOL, I did run today but it wasn't planned. What was planned was a gym day, but it was so nice outside this morning that I swapped 30 minutes on the elliptical for 6 km on the roof track. Followed by upper body weights and stretching. On the weekend my long run was 17 km on Saturday night, which was planned to take advantage of running under the full moon. Although it was kind of cloudy, it was still a nice run. It's good for body and soul to mix up the routine sometimes.
Unfortunately, after being great on Saturday night, my foot was sore this morning at the beginning of my run. As usual, it was fine by the end of the first 2 km, but it's darned annoying.
Have a great day, everyone, running or whatever else you do today.

3 weeks into this injury (groin pull) and it still doesn't feel good enough to get back into running. I've made an apt to physio for Friday.

No running, but did ride my bike to/from work and went for an hour-long ride on my road bike after work.
