When I get home later I'll be following and watching online for a few friends at IMC in whistler- gorgeous day for it.

Happy racing and training everyone. :)

Since I haven't run in quite some time, and feel extremely out of shape because of it, I set a goal of 3k this morning. I figured starting over, it's good to set achievable goals so I don't get frustrated that 5k would be tough. The 3k went well, and I was glad to get to the end of the loop! I ran one lap of the outside path of Point Pleasant. Then we walked for a while - another loop of the park, then to get groceries, etc.

My goal for the rest of the month is to run 3k each day, just to get back into it with no pressure.

Good luck Jenn! A lovely 10sh k (read 12k) with run club this am. It was great! A little warm towards the end though.

4.5K this morning. Ran it hard, although speed is very relative these days.

10k jog for the bog this morning. Don't know what my time was, but I enjoyed it. They called it a "trail run", but I didn't believe it until I found myself running in a dry creek bed

Struggled through 8k, my legs were leaden. Thankfully the uphill was all stairs so I had an excuse to walk.

No run but over 17kms of walking with my wife - beautiful day. Plus we decided to walk to a friend's house rather than drive.

And some weights.

6 km this morning - solo in the post rain humidity. i had a great 12k on friday - felt very strong and no soreness after. will likely drop back the long run this week, then build up again - army run looking less scary now!

Another 5km walk today plus some tourist walking with my visiting mother. Hot day... Love it but need to rehydrate tonight!

Have not been running a lot lately... Not good for my August race but it has an 11 hour cutoff so I figure I should be ok. ;)

15.5 KM run done. First long run in several weeks. It was way too hot/humid for me so it was extra slow...but it's done! Week 1 of marathon training done :)
