Steamy Saturday . . .
12K for me on this gorgeous, yet humid morning here in Ottawa. Glad I ran early, it's going to get warm later today!

It was cooler last night but it's so muggy. I'm not looking forward to the upcoming 19k sweatfest.

Re: Steamy Saturday . . .
Early morning 33K past the miles and miles of hungover campers attending the nearby country music festival.
Re: Steamy Saturday . . .
I don't usually run in the mornings (I'm not a morning person) but with the weather getting hotter, there's not much choice. 12K done this AM. Very pleasant temperature.
Wow, there sure are a lot of people awake and doing things early on a Saturday morning!

Ran my first 50K while down visiting my in laws in PA. Great, but tough course. 5000 feet of climbing, and sections of unrunnable rock hopping. Looooonnnnggggg climbs- some of them lasting 45 mins. Finished in just under 7 hours, which was good for 2nd place.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

It was the Conconheague 50K in the Tuscarora State Forest, near Blain PA (northwest of Harrisburg).
