Mountain biking for me later today - can't wait. It's been a while and no chance of rain to spoil my plans today! :D

Godspeed, Habs!

I'm doing a bit of active recovery from my long run yesterday. Walked 1.25K each way to the farmer's market, and now getting ready to ride my bike across town to meet my cousin for coffee (probably about 45 minutes each way, depending on traffic).

Good luck, Habs! Nothing up for me today. I've been sick, so just housecleaning for cardio today. Hopefully back at it in a few days.

No Queens here! Shorter, harder run this morning. Fingers crossed for good results in Regina....

Beautifull running weather here in Ottawa this morning. 25km at 1/2 marathon pace.

Would have been a beautiful day for a run here this morning, but I rested! Family hike at Pink Lake - about 90 minutes, including considerable scrambling over and under downed trees.

Ran the Longboat Roadrunners Toronto Island 5k today. Not my best time (20:49) but my best overall result (I think a lot of the fast runners were elsewhere today): 17th overall, 4th masters male, 1st in my age group. Always a great race. I just wish they would start the 5k awards a little sooner… bit of a drag to sit around for so long and then have to rush for the ferry.

Actually managed a 4 second pb in the B&O run. I guess there's hope for me this year afterall.

It feels really good to actually think this year wasn't a waste.

No "ish" about it. Still ended with a medal, so all is good.
