At 4:45 when I went outside, the eclipse was about 3/4. 28 min later, it was about 95%. A cloud tried to take it but the moon won. Even now, the moon is just starting to peek out of its shadow.
56 min run for 4.7 miles.

I was out and purposely planned my route into the view at 6:15-6:30. The clouds cleared just in time. It was really cool!
12K easy this morning.

Re: Eclipse Wednesday
Didn't know it was a lunar eclipse when I was walking with V this morning. That explains why the moon looked so funky. Thanks to Spirit, now I know. Coolness!

Re: Eclipse Wednesday
Good morning! I haven't run since last Wednesday night (substituting the elliptical for running, so at least doing something) and my heel is feeling better, but not better enough to run again. I can see swelling and at times it is still painful, so why tempt fate? It's probably time to see a sports medicine doctor, but the trick is finding the time when work is so busy. Anyway, that means no run for me at Runpub tonight, but maybe some pub. In other news, I was sorry to miss the eclipse this morning, was inside at the gym.
Have a great day everyone.

Re: Eclipse Wednesday
I forgot all about it being a lunar eclipse- when I was out running I noticed that the moon was a crescent but didn't think anything of it...........
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Re: Eclipse Wednesday
7K for me today.
Re: Eclipse Wednesday
The first half of the day was blah, especially when the eclipse was buried behind a thick blanket of clouds, but this afternoon's run was good: 3 sets of (2 minutes hard [~8K race pace], 1 minute easy, 3 minutes hard, 2 minutes easy) on trails + WU/CD for 11K. I went with our #2 XC runner and pulled him under 3:20/K for that last 3 minute stretch.
Re: Eclipse Wednesday
