Slick Thursday

Postby Ken B » Thu Dec 18, 2014 2:41 pm

Yikes - No Thursday thread yet??

The area around K-W was icy today. The local trails weren't too bad. 19 km trail running in 2 hours this morning.

Slick one for me too- had a good wipe out this morning. I was on my regular morning trails, and my dog stopped at a creek for a drink. I hit the brakes on the little footbridge over the creek (not thinking that it would be super slippery as it was covered in frost) and ended up flat on my back.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

No ice on the elliptical! 55 minutes/6.5 miles today. I'll try running a little bit again tomorrow morning.

Lots of ice here too. 14K with 10x30s strides along one of the stretches with traction.

No running today - instead a double header of shopping and boot camp. Hard to say which was more tiring!

No running here, the gang got together for our annual Christmas dinner. Had the usual ridiculous amount of gifts and much wine. Work will be painful tomorrow.
