Moon River Run

Postby ceileigh » Fri Mar 06, 2015 2:01 pm

This is a new run that started last year in Cornwall, ON. It starts at the Gray's Creek conservation area and goes along a paved bike path by the shore of the St. Lawrence river. It is a night run and is held on or as close to the full moon as possible. It's beautiful to run along the bike path by moonlight!

This year we have both a 5K and 8K event.

The race is a fundraiser for Beyond 21 (day program for developmentally challenged adults, 21 years of age and older) and the participants of the program make the race medals for the participants.

Registration is now open on through the Running Room. You can also collect pledges and fundraise. If you raise $150 or more we will refund you your registration.

More information can be found here: http://beyond21.org/moon-river-run/

Early bird discount to the end of March!

It would be great to see a few 'maniacs' on the course!!
