Toronto Scotia Marathon: Top 10 Big City Marathon in NA

According to Runners World, Toronto Scotia is in the top 10 bucket list big city marathons in North America. Think I would have put Ottawa there first, but kudos to Scotia.

I'm a little surprised the field size is so small (4000), I always figured it was bigger than that.

With the half marathon, it's about 15,000.

I am willing to bet that money gets you into Runners World top 10 list. Having run many races throughout N/A it does not rank in my top 10.

I would rank Ottawa higher as well but having done both multiple times STWM is a great event.

I'm surprised Big Sur isn't on the list but figured it doesn't meet the criteria of taking place in a "big city."
