Boston Marathon - KenB vs LisaP - It's on!

Postby Jwolf » Tue Apr 14, 2015 6:31 pm

There are three waves that start at different times but about 10 corrals within each wave. The corrals go one at at time but with only a short delay between them. Lisa is one corral ahead of ken but they are both in the same wave.

Do I go with the Adorable Vertically Challenged Lisa...or the Zesty Old Geezer Ken. :D

I can't decide...I have a feeling this is going to be a race day decision for me

Especially since you are both a vertically challenge AND a zesty old geezer yourself! [ducks for cover]

Fun was the idea!

Oh Jo-Jo - I can see how your loyalties could be split between the vertically challenged and zesty old geezer camps. I promise to represent the vertically challenged to the BEST of my abilities though! :D

Now off to stalk Ken's splits from last year to finalize my race plan.......

I was out for my last tempo run this morning. A little over 5K in 30 minutes. 5:26 min/km pace. Not much more to do training wise as I want to be razor sharp on Monday! :)

Go Ken go! I'm a fan!

This blackbird's mute gonna sing again
One fine day

So all you sinners come out
And all you drunkards crawl out
Come into the light of one fine day

Heading out shortly to Syracuse, NY where we will stay tonight. Off to Franklin, Mass tomorrow and then to the Expo on Sunday. We are supposed to connect with Lisa on Sunday so we can personally assess each other's preparedness for this awesome contest! :)
