Don't know what the weather is like on other parts but it's cool and windy in K-Town!

It was a beautiful, sunny morning here. We went for a 6k walk. My legs were too tired to run after yesterday's bike ride. It is now raining.

Cold and wet at 0600 this morning. Just a little under 9 miles in about 1h20.

Cold, wet, and windy here, too. So I bailed in my planned long bike ride and went for a run instead.

It's not cold wet and windy here but a warm 21C under cloudy skies with a nice breeze. I sort of missed not being at the Run for Water event this year. Marathon got cancelled due to road construction. Instead I had a sluggish 14k run.

Warm and wet yesterday, would have been nice for running, but I was at a family do. Today it's cool and wet, not so splendid, but a nice 10 km run sure makes it a bit nicer :) . For added fun, hop around the puddles and see if I can avoid soaking either of my feet (I managed to, for once!).

Four of us went downtown for a 5k run with Running Room - promo said free t-shirt but the fine print was free Rock and Roll Half race registration and free t-shirt if you signed up with Team Volken, oh well had a nice run around Lost Lagoon and part of the seawall.

Part of the attraction for me was we were going to go for brunch at Mahoney & Sons and get our free beer from the BMO marathon, unfortunately, their website lies and they don't open for brunch until 11 or 12 so ended up at Craft instead where we ran in to Jwolf and her swim group. She was looking very tanned and happy.

Tanned because I don't use enough sunscreen when I run. :) But glad I was looking happy.

It was good to see my group and I got a wetsuit from a friend to try. But no swimming or running for me yet. I did do a bunch of walking today though. I will probably be taking another week of rest and walking only.

8.4 miles.

Gives me my monthly mileage goal of 250km (in fact 250.7 :)

My legs felt super tired today from a higher mileage, higher elevation week, but in the second half of the run I actually felt pretty awesome and strong. Definitely getting in better shape again. :)
