Spring Sunday . . .

Postby NMG » Sun Jun 28, 2015 9:28 am

At least it feels like it here in Ottawa today with highs around 14. 8K for me in the drizzle this morning.

Up way too early for 30K. If I can survive today's heat, things should get slightly better starting tomorrow.

Wet and miserable here in the Gta. Opted for 10k on the treadmill and a strength workout.

Still mizzling (Brit term I just learned, cross between mist and drizzle) here in Montreal. Tossing around heading out to Jazz Festival. Those I want to see are under tents, but very small tents. My claustrophobia might lead me to run screaming into the streets, but hoping everyone is staying away due to crap weather. Got my
week 4 day 1 of couch to 5 in though, yay.

Slow day with the grey weather....did 30 minutes on the rowing machine fairly hard.

Hot and steamy 21k. The weather had the poor timing to turn overcast and cool ... after the race was over. My hip flexors did not appreciate the combination of hills and heat so I ended up with a not very impressive 2:17.

It was REALLY muggy when I set out with a friend at 4pm for a trail run. By the second half it had started to sprinkle... just a sprinkle but awesome and is already cooling things down a bit. We did about 9 miles.
