Unseasonably Warm Wednesday

Postby La » Wed Dec 02, 2015 9:20 am

At least here in the COTU it is! I can't believe it's December! This time last year we were freezing our nuts off and there was snow on the ground!

Bike to the pool, swim done, biked to work. Will run when I get home - maybe even in shorts!!

I had a very slippery run home yesterday in freezing rain - the pedestrian bridge was sheer ice! This morning I avoided it, and the rest of my route was just wet. Run commute to and from today, and hopefully will make it to bootcamp tonight if everything aligns.

Warmish indeed!

It was lovely out for my 12K easy pace this morning.

Back home. I was able to get in a 90 minute walk/run/walk on Monday followed by a 3 hour gym session. Yesterday, I managed a 90 minute hills workout surrounded by 30 minutes of warm up walking and the same time for a cool down walk
Now for Wednesday: Out this morning on the Iron Horse Trail in K-W. My usual 30 minute walks at each end of a 60 minute fartlek run.

Got about 4kms with the RR done, then home to a hot bowl of spicy soup and a glass of wine.
