Avoid the Rain Thursday

5K run on the schedule for today and I was so happy to get it done before the rain started back up.
As soon as I stopped my watch the first drops started to fall. Happy to have avoided the deluge.

It is a beautiful, warm day in Ottawa! I haven't ran in a few days because I've been battling a sinus infection, but will go to my RR clinic tonight.

I did not avoid the rain... got the full force of rain and wind but it was lovely and I was grateful because I was thinking about how dry it was all summer.

6.5 miles done, my strongest and longest run since my injury. :)

Tuesday: freezing rain

Wednesday: snow

Thursday: fog and wind. All sorts of treachery underfoot during an afternoon 14K.
