Already FRIDAY

Postby Spirit Unleashed » Fri May 13, 2016 8:51 am

Man, I had a great run: outside, on a trail in a park. I saw the first pink bird of the season. I don't know what it is called, but it had a wide bill which it uses in the mud, and pink wings. Oh, and boy is it had and humid now.

I had a great run, too - also outside & warmer than it's been (about 12 degrees) but not humid :). 18.5 happy miles. I love being able to do my long run before the weekend. It's more relaxing to know no one is at home waiting for me!

Happy Friday :).
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

8K for me on the trails in a bit of humidity here in Ottawa. First day of the year where you could tell it was in the air. I've also come to the conclusion that I'm a vampire. Direct sunshine on a warm day absolutely sucks the life out of me!
