Thursday anyone?

Eh, is something wrong? Twice in arrow for me to start the thread so I'm just wondering there a zombie outbreak or something I might I've missed.

Anyway, 7 miles for me today.

Rest day for me. A little sore and slightly bruised from playing with sandbags yesterday.

I wasn't planning to go running today – I went yesterday and I have stuff that needs doing – but it was such a beautiful day and I just really wanted to. So I did, just 5.5 km but I don't regret it! :)

Lunchtime 10k tempo in 46 minutes. Felt strong and could have gone longer but with wu/cd and showering it doesn't give me much time. 13.5k total

just a bike commute for me today! 35 minutes each way. Evening was spent chasing 3-5 year old soccer players - need a rest day from that!

1 mile walk and some upper body strength and then hot tub.

I haven't run since Monday!

looooong week and I'm exhausted. I showed up at RunPub just to say hi, and then I walked the dog and am now home in my jammies. :)

Got out with the gals for a 5k run, it feels like ages since I've done an evening run. It felt quite tough but got it done.

No run, but a strength session with my trainer. I can feel myself improving. Right now we are focusing on range of motion, not really strength. I am learning to do this with my clients.

Nice work. Speedy! I ran long today - a lovely 20 miles. My weekend will be spent in Saint John watching my swimmer at the NB Long Course Champs. I'll squeeze in some runs between sessions. I'm most excited about watching my daughter swim a 1500m (her fav) in the 50m pool :).
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

Good luck to your daughter! It sounds like she has lots of natural talent.
